VICTORIA L. (PERDUE) BROWN
Victoria Louise Brown 73, (affectionately known as Mother Brown or Vickie) was born in Pleasant Hill Missouri, January 27, 1952, to Parents Russell H. Perdue and Patricia L. Perdue. Victoria entered into rest Sunday, November 23rd, 2025.
Victoria was the only child of her parents. She married Darrell Brown in 1971 and became widowed November 22, 2008. Victoria and Darrell had no children.
Victoria was proudly employed by the IRS as a Secretary for many years and retired with honor; having achieved honorable awards and acknowledgments.
Victoria had a love and skill for crocheting. She loved to fellowship and serve others. Victoria will be remembered for her famous tea parties that she would host. She loved playing her clarinet; she was also an avid collector and a great teacher.
It was June 8th, 1997, when God filled Victoria with the Baptism of the Holy Ghost! She would adamantly tell you that “Jesus was the Best Thing that ever happened to her”. Victoria loved the Bible and was very happy to let you know that she was on track to receive her 25th Certificate of Completion for reading the Bible through from cover to cover 25 years in a row! Mother Brown was faithful! Having served her church for over 30 years, she served in many capacities throughout the years. She was currently an active member of the Mother Board at ARC. She was a very warm, caring and considerate person. Many have testified of her “healing hugs”. She opened her home to many new saints, giving them a fresh start. Mother Brown loved her God! Her Pastor! Her church family! Victoria’s handprint and influence is all over this Congregation and will continue to be until we are raptured away.
In Loving Memory of Victoria L. Brown, visitation will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at the Apostolic Revival Church, 8787 Old Santa Fe Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64138. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 12:00 Noon at the church. Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 1501 N. State Route 7, Pleasant Hill, Missouri 64080

Oh Mother Brown it’s hard to see you go, but there you go off to a better place. You are truely missed, that smile, laugh, hanging out with you listening to your stories of you and just you holding it down with the Mother’s! Love and miss you sooo much🥹😢🥰
Will forever miss you ( MA) Mother Brown, the late night we had , the conversations we had . All the memories you left , when we would go out and I would call you mom and people would look at us you would say ; her dad is Mexican and for some apparent reason it would make it believable. I will forever be grateful for you your last words to me were I Love you and they will forever be in heart. Love you always your daughter Betty. That’s how you would present me when you would always be on the phone . I will miss your laughter , our conversations and your (have Mercy ) saying .
Vic is now gone to a place where love and comfort is eternal.
It is my sincere hope that we will all rejoice with her there at an appointed time.. Victoria was loved by many and respected by all!
I will always cherish the wonderful memories I had with Mother Brown.. Mother Brown was a phenomenal woman, when we lose someone close to us they continue to live on through us and give us unbelievable strength, It was such a privilege and honor to know her, She was an incredibly thoughtful woman. May her memory live on forever.
Mama Brown you will be loved and missed to the max. I remember telling you that you had to catch up with me but now I have to catch up with you. You were such an amazing woman. Thank you for everything ❤️.😢
Mother Brown will always be in my memory for being one of the most feisty elders in my life. Her deep melodious voice while singing, to her heart felt playing on her clarinet, to her fervent AMEN! In church agreeing with Pastor.
Mother Brown had faith the her eyes would be healed so she could get back on the road to show everyone how to really drive. (LOL) But now that she has gone on to meet her reward. I do believe she has her 20/20 now.
Fly on Mother Brown, sing in the Heavenly choir along with Mother Parker and my father Elder Burgess.
I will miss you, my dear Mother Brown. I am thankful for all the fond memories we made throughout the years that will live on in my heart and mind. Your love for God and people have always been a blessing and an example to follow. Mother Brown, such a beautiful Lady of God and one of a kind. Always giving and sharing and you had a wonderful way of making others feel valued and loved. I am forever blessed because you were part of my life. The holidays and special times will be different now that you are not here. Yet, I can smile and rejoice knowing you have received a far greater reward. Love you always, Mother Brown.
My Mother Brown (Mother Breezy). I am truly going to miss you but I know that you’re in a better place. You have held a special place in my heart since the day that I met you. I am so thankful for the times that we got to spend together and the stories that you shared with me. During IOP practice you always made us strive to get the music right.
