VICTORIA L. (PERDUE) BROWN

Victoria Louise Brown 73, (affectionately known as Mother Brown or Vickie) was born in Pleasant Hill Missouri, January 27, 1952, to Parents Russell H. Perdue and Patricia L. Perdue. Victoria entered into rest Sunday, November 23rd, 2025.

Victoria was the only child of her parents. She married Darrell Brown in 1971 and became widowed November 22, 2008. Victoria and Darrell had no children.

Victoria was proudly employed by the IRS as a Secretary for many years and retired with honor; having achieved honorable awards and acknowledgments.

Victoria had a love and skill for crocheting. She loved to fellowship and serve others. Victoria will be remembered for her famous tea parties that she would host. She loved playing her clarinet; she was also an avid collector and a great teacher.

It was June 8th, 1997, when God filled Victoria with the Baptism of the Holy Ghost! She would adamantly tell you that “Jesus was the Best Thing that ever happened to her”. Victoria loved the Bible and was very happy to let you know that she was on track to receive her 25th Certificate of Completion for reading the Bible through from cover to cover 25 years in a row! Mother Brown was faithful! Having served her church for over 30 years, she served in many capacities throughout the years. She was currently an active member of the Mother Board at ARC. She was a very warm, caring and considerate person. Many have testified of her “healing hugs”. She opened her home to many new saints, giving them a fresh start. Mother Brown loved her God! Her Pastor! Her church family! Victoria’s handprint and influence is all over this Congregation and will continue to be until we are raptured away.

In Loving Memory of Victoria L. Brown, visitation will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at the Apostolic Revival Church, 8787 Old Santa Fe Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64138. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 12:00 Noon at the church. Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 1501 N. State Route 7, Pleasant Hill, Missouri 64080

You will forever be missed Mother Brown! I am so thankful for everything you’ve done from many years ago taking my family in and opening your home to us! I will forever remember all the late night talks we’ve had. I will never forget the time I lived with you by myself and how you taught me how to bake sugar cookies and all the stories you would share with me about your childhood and the racing you would do and the events you’d be in. Momma you may have left earth but you will NEVER be forgotten!, you will always be in our hearts!!! I Love you and miss you! Until we meet again in Glory! 🙏🏼❤️

There are many memories I have of Mother Brown but I could say one of the warmest warmest memories I have is laughing about her driving days Orr “ racing days” as she would call it, we will for every remember her kind words and smiling face , and we can also remember her by her gifts of her famous pumpkin bread, when I first met her we all received one but as the church family grew only the children would get one. I my self will remember her gifts like the crochet oven mitts she made for me and the blanket she crochet for my grandson, oI would give her rides to her home after church and she always try to give me money, “no mother Brown “ I would never think of it. She then ordered me a key chains with the letter of my name, I guess she thought. She would give me something either way, that was mother Brown. .
