ZACHARY WAYNE TAYLOR

Zachary Wayne Taylor, a crew leader for Kansas City Lawn & Tree LLC, and longtime resident of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on October 17, 2022, at the age of 36 years, 10 months and 13 days.

Zack was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas on December 4, 1985 to Gerald Ezra and Delinda Elaine (Simonin) Taylor. On August 9, 2008 and July 7, 2021, retrospectively, he welcomed his children, Jazlyn Nicole Taylor and Noah Wayne Charlie Taylor, who were an important part of his life.

In his younger years, Zack lived in Raytown, Missouri where he attended Robinson Elementary School and was a member of the Kansas City Baptist Temple. After moving to Pleasant Hill, Missouri, Zack attended the First Baptist Church of Pleasant Hill. More recently, he was attending Maywood Baptist Church in Independence, Missouri.

Zack was actively involved as a member and chairperson in the G.O.D. Group of Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Through his own struggles, he impacted many lives and will be remembered for his contagious smile, sense of humor, and ability to help others find hope and faith.  

Zack is survived by his parents, Gerald and Delinda Taylor of Pleasant Hill, Missouri; daughter, Jazlyn Nicole Taylor of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; son, Noah Wayne Charlie Taylor of the home; sister, DeAnna Keller and husband Michael of Pleasant Hill, Missouri; brothers, Jake Taylor and, Stacey Taylor and wife Rhonda, all of Kansas City, Missouri; his fiancé, Mica Sue Chambers and her children, Isabella Rose and Mason all of the home; a multitude of other relatives and friends.

The family of Zachary Wayne Taylor will receive family and friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at the Wallace Funeral Home, Pleasant Hill, Missouri. The family suggests contributions be made to Gerald Taylor for present and future care of Zachary’s children.

    Your smile and joking brought many laughs to people on a daily basis! You had a heart of Gold and really gave it your all at this thing! I am so sorry I did not get 1 more hug and tell you that I loved you so her it is “ I love you brother” rest is and give everyone a hug from me!
