TIM WAYNE ELLIOTT

Tim Wayne Elliott, 90, of Pleasant Hill, MO passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at Odessa Health Care Center.

 He was born on April 19, 1935 to Roy Lee and Nora Augusta (Harms) Elliott in Bosworth, MO.

 On August 18, 1953. Tim was united in marriage with Linda Kay (Dobbs). They lived the majority of their married years in Pleasant Hill, MO. They were blessed with 5 children. The family spent many years serving the community of Cass County with Christmas Aglow, providing toys to families in need during the Christmas season.

Tim worked for A-OK Transmission, MO Mine Company in Unionville, MO and owned several auto repair shops, and a used car dealership. Most of his years were spent working for Stafford and Company and the Kansas City Star & Times delivering papers.

He enjoyed the time spent with each of his grandchildren and all of them will tell you they are his favorite. He loved tinkering with cars and finding unique ways to fix them, while enjoying a Diet Dr. Pepper and Snickers.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters, George Elliott, Pete Elliott, Dennis Elliott, Nelson Elliott, Leo Elliott, Betty Ann Player, Helen Inscore, and a granddaughter, Shannon Blaco.

He is survived by his wife, Linda of the home, children Mitch of Raytown, Tom and wife, Stephanie of Independence, Linda Lou Elliott Emrick of Pleasant Hill, Susan Scott and husband, Keith of Independence, Michael of Lone Jack, sister Ruby Farley, 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, his dog, Benny and cats, Bo, Big Head, Bill, Jenny, and Jill.

    I loved seeing Tim come to the drive thru at CVS. I would love talking to him and helping him out. He was a very sweet man.
