ROBIN RAE (Baker) SUPPENBACH

Robin Rae (Baker) Suppenbach was born May 11, 1953 in Broken Bow, Nebraska and departed this life on June 16, 2025 at her home in Pleasant Hill, Missouri, at the age of 72 years, 1 month and 5 days.

She was the daughter of Robert Fred and Dorothy Rae (Ferguson) Baker.

When Robin was 4, she moved with her daddy and sister to Missouri, mainly living in Grandview, Missouri, where she attended school. At the end of her sophomore year her family moved to Lake Lotawana, Missouri, and Robin attended school in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, graduating from Lee’s Summit High School in 1971.

On April 12, 1975, Robin was united in marriage with Larry Wayne Suppenbach at the First Christian Church of Pleasant Hill, Missouri. After their marriage, Robin and Larry made their home in Pleasant Hill. Larry Suppenbach passed away on June 16, 2023 and Robin continued to live in the family home.

Robin was most proud of being a wife, mother, MeMe and homemaker, however she did own and operate a quilting business out of her home for several years.

Robin enjoyed anything to do with water, camping, cooking and taking care of her dogs and cats (of which there were many over the years).  She also enjoyed feeding and tending the flock of chickens that belonged to her and Tiffany, which resided at her home. Robin enjoyed time spent with friends, but above all else, she loved and enjoyed spending time with Tiffany, Len, Cody and Wyatt.

Robin was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Wayne Suppenbach; her father, Robert Baker; mother, Dorothy Triplett; brother, Randy Baker and sister, Lesley Halsey.

She is survived by her daughter, Tiffany Lewis and husband Len of Pleasant Hill, Missouri; her beloved grandsons, Cody Lewis and Wyatt Lewis; nieces, Patti Ray and husband Alan, and Katie Halsey and Kimball Backus; nephew, Rodney Halsey and wife Lisa, other relatives and many friends.

Per Robin’s wishes, cremation has been accorded.

The family of Robin Suppenbach will receive friends at a Celebration of Life Visitation from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 11, 2025 at the Wallace Funeral Home.
