ROBERT “MARK” JINKINS

Robert “Mark” Jinkins, age 72, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri passed away on September 8, 2025.

 Mark was born to Robert “Buck” Jinkins and Betty Jinkins Lamb on May 28, 1953 in Harrisonville, MO before his family moved to Blue Springs.  Mark graduated from Blue Springs High School in 1971.  Mark had several jobs including working at OK Tire Store, Lowry’s Gas Station, and Superior Bowen Asphalt before retirement from Heavy Construction Laborers Local Union 663. 

 Mark was preceded in death by his father, Robert Jinkins; sister, Cynthia Elefson, and sister-in-law, Merrie Williams.  He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Beth) of 30 years.  Mother: Betty Jinkins Lamb.  Children: Christopher (Crystal) Jinkins; and Elizabeth (Kyle) McCarthy.  Grandchildren: Haydn, Logan, Easton, Adley and Maddox.  Sister: Connie (Jim) Martin. Brothers-in-law: Robert (Cindy) Woodson, Mike (Paula) Williams and Dwight Elefson.  Mark was loved by his niece and nephews: Kim (Jason) Compton of Blue Springs, Aaron (Abigail) Williams of Overland Park, and Aidan Williams (Alissa) of Charlotte, NC.  

 Mark’s life was made richer by the care and love he received from Michelle and Kaylee Lombardo, Chyenne Lockhart and Kelly Long, who will forever be considered family. 

The family of Mark Jinkins will receive friends from 10:30 – 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 12, 2025 at the Wallace Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Honorary Bearers are Robert Woodson, James Helmig, Nathan Long and Samuel Root, IV.
