Pauline Frances (Burgard) “Tall Paul” Cleveland was born November 14, 1922 in Warrensburg, Missouri and departed this life on August 30, 2015 at her home in Cleveland, Missouri at the age of 92 years 9 months and 16 days.
She was the daughter of Paul F. and Lillan (Moore) Burgard. Pauline spent her younger years and attended school in Warrensburg, Missouri. In 1943, Pauline moved to Kansas City, Missouri where she lived until 1968 when she moved to Cleveland, Missouri to make her home. Pauline was a superb homemaker and an accomplished cook.
She was a member of Ruskin Heights Baptist Church.
Pauline was preceded in death by; one son, Robert Earl Cleveland; her parents, Paul F. and Lillan (Moore) Burgard; two brothers, Cleo and Elmer Burgard and one sister, Irene Conley.
She is survived by her long time companion, August “Augie” Carrender of the home; one son, Harry Dale Cleveland of San Antonio, Texas; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Per Pauline’s wishes, cremation has been accorded and no services are scheduled.
