NORVILLE R. PERVIER

Norville R. Pervier, 88, of Grandview, Missouri, formerly of Brainerd, Minnesota, passed away on December 26, 2023 at his home.

Norv was active since 1998 in the Crow Wing Squadron Civil Air Patrol (USAF Auxiliary) serving on aircrews during search and rescue missions and training exercises, as well as squadron safety officer, deputy commander, and finance officer.

He was an active pilot and experimental airplane restorer having worked most recently on repairing a damaged Coot (hull type amphibian). In 2010, Norville added the glider rating to his pilot’s license. He was also active since 2008 in the Patriot Guard Riders. His other activities included sailing, photography, senior dances where he met many good friends, and riding his Honda Shadow. Norv also volunteered in Healthy Brains for Children as Treasurer, and in WreathsForTheFallen as Vice President.

After retiring in 1997 as Sales Manager for an aviation specific software firm in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Norv worked part time, for a couple of years, driving a school bus and for Ace Hardware in Brainerd.

Norv served in the Minnesota National Guard and the Army Reserves from 1953 to 1961.

Preceding him in death were his parents; Norville C. and Kathryn Pervier and wives; Patricia, Masumi and Colleen.

Norv is survived by his children, Laura Pervier of Seattle, Washington, and Jeffrey Pervier and wife Eileen of Grandview, Missouri; three grandchildren, Sean, Renee and Kelley; great-grandchildren, Scarlett, Maven and Sterling; step-daughter, Tonette; step-grandson, Rendell, step-great granddaughters, Taliyah, Mykiyah and Zendayh and step-great grandsons, Maadoxx and Easton.

Cremation has been accorded. No Services are scheduled.
