Julio Gonzalez-Ramos

Julio Gonzalez-Ramos was born June 17, 1975 in Fortin Delas Flores Veracruz, Mexico and departed this life on July 31, 2025 at Lee’s Summit Medical Center in Lee’s Summit, Missouri at the age of 50 years, 1 month and 14 days. He was the son of Senen Gonzalez and Mariana Ramos-Contreras.

Julio spent his younger years in Mexico. In September of 2001 he made his way to Missouri to live. On August 31, 2014, Julio was united in marriage with Sarah Bianca Variga in Pleasant Hill, Missouri and they made their home in Pleasant Hill.

Julio was a respected self-employed Master Plumber. Julio enjoyed fishing, cooking, going to the casinos, his dogs, soccer (especially watching his nephews play), watching old movies and was an avid Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals fan. Julio loved spending time with family, especially with his granddaughter Alicia who he called “Menudo”, and friends.

Julio is survived by his wife, Sarah Bianca Gonzalez of the home, his father, Senen Gonzalez and mother, Mariana Ramos-Contreras both of Mexico; sons, Nathaniel Mosqueda and fiancé Danielle Vest of Blue Springs, Missouri and, Zenen Eduardo Gonzlez of Mexico; daughter, Natalie Mendez of Pleasant Hill,
Missouri; brother, Luis Enrique Gonzalez-Ramos and wife Ashley Wade of Pleasant Hill, Missouri; sister, Jazmin Carolina Gonzalez-Ramos of Mexico; grandmother, Candelaria Contreras-Venegas of Mexico; granddaughter, Alicia Mendez; Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and many friends.

The family of Julio Gonzalez-Ramos will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Friday, August 8, 2025 at the Wallace Funeral Home in Pleasant Hill, Missouri. Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, August 9, 2025 at the funeral home with Pastor Paul Webb officiating. Following the funeral service,
cremation will be accorded.
