Helping Families and Friends Honor Loved Ones Since 1959

Bryan C. Buckley

BRYAN CHARLIE BUCKLEY

Bryan Charlie Buckley, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, was tragically and unexpectedly taken from us on August 17, 2025.  His passing has left a gaping hole in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Born on October 17, 1994, in Kansas City, Missouri, Bryan was the son of LaMonica Cochran. He was a proud graduate of Harrisonville High School, Class of 2013, and embarked on a fulfilling career at Hiland Dairy, where he demonstrated a strong work ethic and a dedication to his craft. For the past 10 years, Bryan had established deep roots in Pleasant Hill.

Bryan’s infectious laugh was his distinguishing feature, brightening every room he entered and leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was a devoted family man, deeply in love with his wife, Cortney, and cherishing every moment with his children. His love for his family was boundless, and their well-being was always his priority.

Beyond his family, Bryan cultivated a wide circle of friends and extended family who will miss his warmth, humor, and unwavering loyalty. He was a constant source of joy and laughter, always ready with a helping hand or a listening ear.

In his free time, Bryan pursued his passions with enthusiasm. His admiration for his Cummins Diesel was evident. He was an avid motorcycle rider, finding freedom and exhilaration on the open road.

Bryan is survived by his loving wife, Cortney Buckley; his adoring children, Aubrie Pearce, Miranda Buckley, and Patrick Buckley; his devoted mother, LaMonica Cochran and husband Micheal Cochran; his sister, LaTricia Adkins; and his twin brother, Bryce Buckley. He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandmother, Patricia Huddleston. He also leaves behind a whole slew of friends and family who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

While his passing has left us heartbroken, we will find solace in the memories of Bryan’s vibrant spirit, his contagious smile, and the immense love he had for his family and friends. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.

A funeral service to celebrate Bryan’s life will be held at Wallace Funeral Home in Pleasant Hill on August 29th, 2025 at 2pm. The family is asking that if you have any memories of Bryan that you would like to share, we would ask that you write them down and bring them in for a memory book for his kids. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to his wife Cortney to benefit their children. Cortney’s Venmo is @CortBuck5.

In the last two years I worked at hiland Brian was one of the best people I met. It was always a pleasure when we worked the same shifts, laughing, eating at the burrito truck on lunch break and just enjoying being around Brian who made work fun.Brian was a very hard worker. He even persuaded me to get a cummins truck. Man I really miss Brian we always talk on the way to and from work. Just an all around great guy.!!!!
