Barbara was a long-time, dedicated and active member of the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.

Barbara enjoyed collecting many beautiful things, among her favorites were collecting Hallmark ornaments and Longaberger baskets. She loved music, flowers and shopping, especially for unique Christmas gifts for her family, which she would painstakingly wrap with so much care and creativity that the recipient of the gift thought it too beautiful to open.
