Mark Curtis Richardson was born January 13, 1955 in Kansas City, Missouri and departed this life on April 26, 2017 at Trinity Health and Rehabilitation Center in Merriam, Kansas at the age of 62 years, 3 months and 13 days.
He was the son of Grover C. and Mary Louise (Hodges) Richardson. Mark grew up in the Kansas City area and graduated from Hickman Mills High School in 1974. On September 1, 1984 he was united in marriage with Judy Grogger in Kansas City, Missouri, and they made their home in Belton, Missouri.
Mark worked as an injection molding operator in plastics manufacturing until declining health forced an early retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grover C. and Mary Louise Richardson; one step-son, Christopher L. Grogger and one brother, Steven Davis. Mark is survived by his wife, Judy (Grogger) Richardson of the home; one brother, Keith Richardson and wife Christine of Belton, Missouri; one step-daughter, Christina Worley and husband Shawn of Tulsa, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Per Mark’s wishes, cremation has been accorded and no services are scheduled.
