Ronald McConville

Ronald K. McConville, Sr. was born November 16, 1949 in Pleasant Hill, Missouri and departed this life on June 22, 2015 at John Knox Hospice in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, at the age of 65 years, 7 months and 6 days.

He was the son of Everett Lee and Eula Mae (Saling) McConville, Sr.

Ronnie spent his younger years and attended school in Pleasant Hill. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1967 until 1969 in Vietnam.

Ronnie had worked as a laborer for Jay Hayes Construction and for the A.D. Mohr Greenhouse, both in Pleasant Hill.For the last three years, Ronnie had lived in Lee’s Summit, Missouri where he was a member of the Coldwater Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Everett Lee McConville, Sr. on May 8, 1976; his mother, Eula Mae McConville on May 18, 1991; his sister, Ann (McConville) Barnes on April 17, 1987 and two brothers, Buster Saling and Everett Lee McConville, Jr.

Ronnie is survived by two sons, Ronald K. McConville, Jr. and John Edward McConville; two daughters, Leanne Michelle (McConville) Zumwalt and Stacey Lynn McConville, all of Independence, Missouri; one niece, who was raised as a daughter, Tonya Barnes of California; nine grandchildren, several much loved nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

In keeping with Ronnie’s wishes, cremation has been accorded and no services are scheduled.
