Donald M. Graham

Donald M. Graham, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, was born November 4, 1925 in Gunn City, Missouri and departed this life on September 28, 2019 at Missouri Veterans Home in Warrensburg, Missouri, at the age of 93 years, 10 months and 24 days.

He was the son of Arthur Lee Graham, Sr. and Ludie Belle (Wagoner) Graham.

The Graham family moved to Pleasant Hill in the early 1930’s and Donald attended school in Pleasant Hill. He went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Army. After his honorable discharge from the Army, Donald returned to Pleasant Hill.

On June 24, 1966, Donald was united in marriage with Hazel Maurene Diehl in Miami, Oklahoma. After their marriage, they made their home in Pleasant Hill.

Donald was a construction worker for Tri-City Construction Company in Kansas City, Missouri for many years. He also raised cattle on his farm in Pleasant Hill.

Donald was a member of V.F.W. Post #3118 of Pleasant Hill, Missouri and a member of the Teamsters Union of Kansas City, Missouri.

Donald was completely devoted to his family. His greatest joy in life was having family gatherings where the entire family would play cards and enjoy time together.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Lee Graham, Sr. and Ludie Belle Graham; five brothers, Jay Graham, Bill Graham, Lawrence Graham, Arthur Lee Graham, Jr. and Robert Graham; four sister, Frances Liddle,  Kathryn Miller, Viola Hamilton and Lorene Hunt.

He is survived by his wife, Hazel M. Graham of the home; one step-daughter, Jeannie Trammell of Pleasant Hill Missouri; two granddaughters, Johnna Flahive of Boston, Massachusetts and Jana Flahive of Seattle, Washington; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Cremation has been accorded and no services are scheduled at this time.
