I am so sorry for the loss of suzie. I never got to meet her in person but I had many conversations with her over the phone. Our phone calls always started with work but we would always end up talking about this or that. She was such a wonderful person and would always ask about me after I moved away. Suzie you will be greatly missied. God bless.

As Winnie the Pooh once said “If ever there is tomorrow when we’re not together..there is something you must always remember. you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. but the most important thing is, even if we’re apart.. I’ll always be with you.”

Just take a minute to let that quote soak in as it is very powerful in its simplicity and was a quote that I recently shared with Susie in an email.

Believe it or not, WE…you and me …the family and friends of Susie Mack have become her collective legacy by the simple fact that we – as her family and friends – have survived her. And, if – as we claim – we truly love Susie, we will treat this responsibility with the utmost dedication and commitment as the things that we say and do – positive AND negative – reflect on Susie.

Lost??? You feel lost?…You feel that you have lost your “reference” in life…or your “purpose” in life?

No, you friends and family of Susie Mack, you are not lost nor have you lost your purpose. As the voice in your GPS might say “Recalculating”…By simply refocusing on the memories that we carry in our hearts and minds of Susie and committing to carrying on her standard – similar to how we carry the cross of our Saviour Jesus Christ, – we will have regained our “reference” AND our “purpose” and – simultaneously – fulfilled our responsibility as the good stewards of the legacy of that remarkable little lady…Susie Mack…by giving witness to her and the legacy that she left for us. Can you think of a memorial more fitting to Susie than her living on through our good deeds?

I ask that God will give us the collective strength and wisdom to carry on Susie’s legacy, that God will bless each and every one of you with His Grace and that God will bless Susie and welcome her into His Kingfom. .

Thank you, Susie and God bless you with his grace.

[Cry when you need to…laugh when you can.]
