Bertha “Arleen” Gregg

Arleen Gregg was born November 17, 1960 in Kansas City, Missouri and departed this life on May 16, 2017 at her home, surrounded by the love of her family, at the age of 56 years, 5 months and 30 days.

She was the daughter of Othe Woodrow Williams, Jr. and Joyce Ann (Bryan) Williams.

Arleen spent her younger years in the Raymore Peculiar area and attended Raymore-Peculiar schools. On August 7, 1996 she was united in marriage with Gary Allen Gregg and they made their home in Pleasant Hill, Missouri.

Arleen worked in manufacturing most of her life. The companies she worked for included Precision Quality, Polytainers, and for many years, she worked at the Pleasant Hill Veneer Plant.

The joy of Arleen’s life was her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a devoted daughter and sister. She loved family gatherings and cherished the time spent with family and friends.
Arleen was a member of the Family Worship Center Assembly of God of Pleasant Hill where she loved listening to the word of God.

Arleen was preceded in death by her father, Othe Woodrow Williams, Jr.

She is survived by her husband Gary Allen Gregg of the home; her mother Joyce Ann (Bryan) Wyatt and husband Dave of Holden, Missouri; one son Maurice Edward Emond, II, of Howard, South Dakota; two daughters, Natoshia Dawn Bahner, and Miranda Nicole Miller and husband Kyle all of Pleasant Hill, Missouri; one brother, Vincel Williams and wife Mary of Herndon, Virginia; two sisters, Debrah Wersching of Lee’s Summit, Missouri and Sandra Craig and husband David of Holden, Missouri; two half-sisters, Annie Sisemore and husband Scott, and Candie Miller and husband Jon all of Belton, Missouri; Nine grandchildren, other relatives and many, many friends.

Funeral Services for Arleen Gregg will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the Wallace Funeral Home in Pleasant Hill with Rev. Tim Casteel officiating. Casket Bearers will be Kyle Miller, Dennis Gregg, Josh West, Vincel Williams, L.E. Bryan and Eddie Emond. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12 – 2:00p.m. service time on Saturday at the funeral home. The family suggests contributions to the Wallace Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
